Day 3 Embryo Update!

 All 12 embryos have undergone at least 7 cell divisions. 7 of them have already had 10 cell divisions! By day 3 they like to see at 6-8 cell divisions. They said that they all look great & there isn't any fragmentation which means that they should have no problem reaching blastocyst stage on Wednesday. No abnormalities or anything either. So the other 10 should be in perfect condition to freeze.

Wonderful news!!! Less then 48 hours to go!!

From eggs to embryos!

  As of Saturday morning 12 of the 15 embryos have fertilized!! We will get another update in the morning. IM had a slight fever and one ovary was still huge this morning so they had her go in this morning for a full work up to check her out. She should be fine in a few days. I can't believe we're just a few days from transfer!!

 P.S. My butt is starting to hurt...these meds make me thirsty and I smell like oil (from the PIO, I assume!?). The end.

Retrieval update!

 IM's retrieval went well, they got 15 eggs!! We can't wait to hear an embryo update!! : ) I've yet to find cute yellow or froggy socks so here's what I did for good luck this morning..

Happy Happy Day!!!

It is about the quality not the quantity!

 That was in IM's fortune cookie tonight. Very fitting for tomorrow's egg retrieval I think : ) Prayers & positive thoughts would be appreciated! They've counted 17 great follicles so I think we'll get a lot of great eggs! ER is at 8:30 so I'll update as soon as I know what they get.
 I also started PIO tonight. Let's just say Hubby rocked it! Didn't even feel it!! I'm so glad to be off Lupron and moving on. Everything is finally falling into place and seems so "real" now.

Trigger happy

  The time is drawing near! IM does her trigger shot tomorrow night! Her E2 has plateaued so they checked her Progesterone level to make sure she hadn't ovulated..which she didn't. Retrieval will be this Friday, YAY!!!

Growing follicles!!

  IM's appt went great today! At her baseline sono they only saw 7 follicles but today there were 16!! 2 of which are already at 8mm so we're right on track. Her E2 level was about 190 and she goes back Saturday for another sono. Hoping to see at least 2-3 follicles at 13mm

What a fabulous day!

 Our appt was perfect today! My lining needed to be at least an 8 and was 9.65 : ) IM's E2 levels were perfect yesterday too! Tomorrow she goes in for her 1st sono to measure those growing follicles. I can't wait to hear how many and how much they've grown so far.
 For now my meds stay the same. If all goes as planned. IM will get her hcg on Tues and I'll start PIO and expect a Thursday retrieval! It's just flying by!!
